Te Reo Rangatira - he wāhanga nō te Marautanga o Aotearoa
Kaiako using Te Marautanga o Aotearoa are invited to a two-day workshop designed to help you navigate Te Reo Rangatira wāhanga ako and plan your reo Māori teaching and learning programmes.
The workshops are primarily intended for kaiako teaching Te Reo Rangatira in Tau 9–10. However, kaiako working at other year levels who believe they would benefit are also warmly invited to attend.
Workshop outcomes
Through collaborative learning and practical activities, participants will:
- develop a shared understanding of the structure of Te Reo Rangatira as a wāhanga ako
- develop a working understanding of the expectations for Tau 9–10
- identify a planning approach that is relevant and responsive to their kura context.
The workshops will also provide an opportunity for kaiako to connect with professional learning and development (PLD) providers who can offer ongoing, in-school support following the workshops.
